Rainbow Interests, LLC is a holding and franchise operating company. This policy applies to information collected through this website and to the private QuickBooks integration used by authorized Rainbow Interests personnel. It does not govern the privacy practices of independently operated businesses, franchise locations, or third-party websites that may be linked from this site.

Information we collect

We do not require website visitors to create an account, and this website does not collect or process contact-form submissions. If you choose to contact us through the public contact details published on this site, we may receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, and message.

When an authorized user connects a QuickBooks Online company, the integration may process OAuth authorization details, the QuickBooks company identifier, and accounting information that the user directs the official Intuit command-line tool to access. Depending on the command, this may include customers, vendors, accounts, invoices, bills, payments, expenses, items, estimates, reports, and related accounting records.

How we use information

We may use information you voluntarily provide to respond to an inquiry, operate and improve this website, protect the site, and comply with applicable law. QuickBooks information is used only for authorized internal accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and business operations. The integration may read or change QuickBooks records only when an authorized user runs a corresponding command. We do not sell personal information, and this website does not send automated text messages.

QuickBooks connection and token storage

The QuickBooks integration is a private internal tool. Each QuickBooks company must separately authorize access through Intuit's OAuth process. The official Intuit CLI stores connection tokens on the authorized user's local device using protected local storage and the operating system keychain. Rainbow Interests does not intentionally store QuickBooks access or refresh tokens on this website.

For production sign-in, Intuit sends the browser to a secure redirect endpoint on this domain. The endpoint validates the response shape and immediately redirects the short-lived authorization response to the local CLI listener. It returns no web page, does not display the authorization code, and does not intentionally retain it.

Limited website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and improve this website. Vercel describes this service as cookie-free and designed to provide anonymized, aggregate analytics. The service may collect limited technical and usage information, such as pages viewed, referrer, device and browser type, and general geographic information. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other sensitive information to analytics.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us operate this website and integration, including Intuit for QuickBooks authorization and API access and Vercel for website hosting and analytics. We may also share information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security. We do not share information for cross-site behavioral advertising.

Data retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. The website does not intentionally retain QuickBooks records or OAuth authorization codes in an application database. Authorized local devices may retain encrypted connection tokens and locally exported data until an authorized user removes them. Vercel runtime logs may record the callback request path and search parameters, including a short-lived, single-use authorization code. Under the current Vercel Hobby plan, those runtime logs are retained for up to one hour. Access through the project dashboard is controlled by Vercel account permissions, and Vercel and its service providers may process the logs under applicable terms and agreements. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may choose not to contact us or not to provide requested information. A QuickBooks company administrator may revoke the integration through QuickBooks app-connection settings or ask Rainbow Interests to remove the applicable local connection. Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights concerning personal information we hold about you.
